Birthday!
My birthday was yesterday. It was very nice. I won Battle Of The Bands as well!
By the way, if you would like to hear some of our music you can go to www.purevolume.com/themarquee and you should be able to hear some songs. They aren't the best versions but they still give people an idea of our style. = )
I hope everyone has had a good year so far. Mine has had many ups to it. I'm very thankful for all I have done.
I am hoping to get those pictures up soon, I just always forget!
I have some amazing CDs a friend's friend burned me. They are all bootlegged concerts. A Zeppelin one from '75 in St. Louis is one of my favourites. They are all very special though.
Okay, better get going.
xoxo

Oh happy belated birthday and CONGRATULATIONS!!
Could be an omen of your future as a rock goddess!
I will be sure to listen to your band.
I have to go fold laundry now though.
I am procrastinating as always...

I listened and you ROCK!
You sound like Mazzy Star (but not like you're trying to rip them off).
I'm mega impresssed if you are this good at such a tender age!
Keep up the great work.
Happy Pete's Birthday to you!
:)

Oh, you're the birthday girl!
Happy belated birthday, Claire--
Hugs,
Brina (and A.J. and Polly too!)
Claire?? Where have you been? You haven't been on Rachel's blog in a few months. We were going to put an all points bulletin as a missing person on you! (hahaha).
I listened to your groups music, and I am VERY impressed with one song called "Together". You sing EXACTLY like Edie Brickell (Edie Brickell & New Bohemians) and the music sounds very much like the Velvet Underground. Quite a mixture, and it did indeed all come "together".
Keep it going and follow the same path.
HAPPY SO MUCH BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!
Hope it was HAPPY, JOYOUS, and all your wishes keep coming true......

Hi Claire,
I'm the dad of Charlotte. She got your mail today. I'm happy you like the pictures from the only real band in the world. Charly is looking every day on your blog and wait about some news from you and she said to me I should write a comment. Wish you all the best from Germany.

Bush and the Republicans were not protecting us on 9-11, and we aren't a lot safer now. We may be more afraid due to george bush, but are we safer? Being fearful does not necessarily make one safer. Fear can cause people to hide and cower. What do you think? Why has bush turned our country from a country of hope and prosperity to a country of belligerence and fear.
If ever there was ever a time in our nation's history that called for a change, this is it!
We have lost friends and influenced no one. No wonder most of the world thinks we suck. Thanks to what george bush has done to our country during the past three years, we do!
