Bobby Dylan

I'm seeing Bobby tomorrow. Oh, I am SO excited. I was afraid I would never get to see him, and he's going to be in St. Louis TOMORROW!
This girl at my school is going. I really don't think she has any passion for the music and she doesn't really know who he really is. It kind of hurts that someone can act so casual about a concert when he is one of the most important people I have ever listened to and I've been waiting so long to see him live. I am also too judgemental and possesive. Something I'm working on...

Claire,

Speaking of the great ones, Neil Young has a new album coming out soon that is going to be (already is) getting a lot of buzz.

Take a look at this review here.

This is amazing. You are like Cameron Crowe, I swear! Seeing and meeting all these legendary people before you are even 18. Wow! I hope you write about it afterwards- Have fun! xoxoLisa

Hi Claire,
Don't worry about the girl, jsut have fun. Tonight, I'm going to a local "Classic Rock Concert Series" show and they are playing Sgt. Pepper note by note, from beginning to end. I'll be thinking of you- you'd be in the front row, cheering away if you were here, I jsut know it.

Cheers,
AM

Hi hon,

Can't wait to hear about your Bobby D. experience!

I have seen him live a total of four times, with years in between when I just had the albums and no live Dylan experiences, but he's someone who, once you let them in, never leave you.

I'm delighted that you got to hear him and really need to hear how it struck you!

Much love,
Brina

P.S. I know what you mean about being judgmental and possessive, and how irritating it can be when people don't "get" the music the way we do. Be patient and you'll maybe outgrow it a bit...I did.

Hi, glad to hear from you and, I posted something today just for you. I hope you like it too.

Maybe I'll write a letter, Dear Claire...but I don't feel like it right now. A little later I may feel different. If so I will post that also. It's raining here today and that would give me something to do, somewhere to focus my thoughts. If I decide to write I will write about Blue Rodeo and what I thought of them when I saw them perform. They're good.
