In The Attic

Well, that was the most amazing day of my life. Really, no kidding.
I loved being on In The Attic. Mikey and Rachel were soooo great. It made me feel at home, you know?
And Tracie is amazing! We had some great times.
Simon was so cute! And Aley was very fab and fun to talk to.
Hannah Townshend's very nice also, we need to go shopping in the States.
And of course meeting Pete Townshend was very gear. I'm watching him play right now on the loop. It's so wonderful hearing them all sing together. Such special people!
What an honor to meet everybody. Didn't they all sound great?
They are so amazing to do this for my father and me.
Thank you everyone for supporting me. I'll send a CD in for Rachel or Tracie, and I'll post some stuff here, too. When I get back to St. Louis I'll get the pictures up!
Perfect day.
Long live rock
xoxo

Claire Eliza,

I absolutely made sure to tune in especially to see you! I caught only about ten minutes, but you were relaxed and charming. I really liked when you were pointing out strings and asking a question of Mikey about a chord.

So glad you were able to share your memory there with plenty back here and at home around the world.

You were perfect and very stunning. I evny you at your age being where you were and who you were with you will remember it forever. You were in hollow ground as far as Meher Baba followers are concerned and Pete would tell you that too. I had many moments where I could talk to Pete but didnt so savor your fame. You should be happy to know your the envy of millions of fans.....at least this 40 year old geek...great job dear........michael :)

Excellent job Claire, what did you think of the studio? Wow, I can't believe you actually did that. Bravo!

By the way, here is a shout out to your parents for teaching you the value of getting a good education and getting good grades. Bravo! to them also.

I've a feeling you'll be going back to London some day.

Most excellent job Claire! You stood up very well and seemed to really enjoy yourself. Was hoping to hear you play a song, but thats OK!

You dad should be very proud to have a daughter like you. Stay young forever

Wow, Claire, I'm so envious. I think you may have made your dad's day too. I recall we worshiped at the alter of Pete and his guitar back when we were in college (ask him about the "Pete Poster").

Are you guys going to be too cool to hang with us at Giant City this year? Or will you have simply already moved to London? Little cabins in the woods won't seem like much after the year you've had girl.

Claire,
I tuned in to ITA as soon as I got home from work just to see your shining moment. You were great, so poised and calm beyond your years! The tights were fabs, you were a delight, and we were all so thrilled for you! You will remember this for the rest of your life, sweetie, and it couldn't happen to a nicer young lady. Rachel gave you some good advice at the end- don't try to be older than you really are, although I don't quite recall being as together as you are at your age (or even now!)

I hope you and your dad enjoy the rest of your trip. Maybe we'll hear more stories about you meeting up with the Who fans at the Goldhawk.

Cheers,
AM

Claire, what an amazing day for you. I was working all day and was unable to get to a computer to check out ITA, I am very disappointed about that. This will be one of the hilights of your life, I am sure. I met Pete once before and I regard that one of the hilights of my life. You are the 2nd luckiest Who/Pete fans in the world!!! Enjoy the rest of your trip. Long Live Rock............!!!!

Hi Claire Eliza, I think all the post from fellow Bloggers have said it already. You were great. It was as if you appeared on the show every week. You were so at ease with everything. So cool!!
I'm really pleased for you, you'll remember it forever. I still remember when I was in there. Feel so priveleged. My legs still ache from climbing those stairs!! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip and well done with the good grades. See ya. Mark

PS I also thought the tights were great.

Claire, were you in Mayfair?

Jeepers. Yikes. Woo! Yowza. I mean, geez!

The tights were cool. The tartan pattern is pretty slick.

Have plenty more fun and spoil us when you get back. You're a great kid. Very special.

Claire!
(Sorry to be so late to post this).

You were soooooo cool on ITA!
I loved your outfit (yes, especially the tights).
I can't get over how relaxed you were!
Did Allie share some wine with you before going on? (kidding).
I think Rachel gave you really good advice - especially about not wanting to grow up too fast. You are incredibly mature for an almost 14 year old though!
Mikey was right on the money about getting older...I still feel 14 inside! (I don't listen to doctors who tell me I'm having vision problems because of "old age." I'm having weird flashing episodes lately). I will never ever get old, despite outward appearances.

It's great that your dad made good on his promise, and here's to you for doing so well in school!

Enjoy the rest of your stay in London!
Take care,
Sue

Hey you doll! I didn't hear that you would be on and didn't read Rachel's blog beforehand, so what a surprise and treat to see you on! How much fun was that! You look so beautiful and are such a real person.

Have a fun rest of your trip and thanks for the shout out on Mikey's MAP I host and created for him.....You are too cute to remember my name!

Great seeing you on ITA Claire,
great job.I hope you can understand
what an honour and how rare it was
to meet the legendary Pete Townshend, alot of us will never get
that chance so let it wallow and soak you in for life because to be honest and judging by how you have
talked about him,I'm not too sure that you DO realize how special
it was.I could be wrong.Glad you
and your dad are enjoying the
trip to England :O)
