You Won't See Me

Happy day late birthday for Georgie! Wow, what an amazing Beatle he was, eh?
This is in my top ten favourite Beatles songs of all time. I remember the first couple times I listened to Rubber Soul in it's entirety. Just a great set of 14 songs.
I performed at a restaurant today with my band. It went really well. We played a Zeppelin medley, an original song (I'll post it soon when we get it recorded), and Jimi's version of "All Along The Watchtower".

You Won't See Me

When I call you up
Your line's engaged
I have had enough
So act your age
We have lost the time
That was so hard to find
And I will lose my mind
If you won't see me
You won't see me

I don't know why
You should want to hide
But I can't get through
My hands are tied
I won't want to stay
I don't have much to say
But I can't turn away
And you won't see me
You won't see me

Time after time
You refuse to even listen
I wouldn't mind
If I knew what I was missing
Though the days are few
They're filled with tears
And since I lost you
It feels like years
Yes, it seems so long
Girl, since you've been gone
And I just can't go on
If you won't see me
You won't see me

Time after time
You refuse to even listen
I wouldn't mind
If I knew what I was missing
Though the days are few
They're filled with tears
And since I lost you
It feels like years
Yes, it seems so long
Girl, since you've been gone
And I just can't go on
If you won't see me
You won't see me

Hi Claire,
So now you're a restaurant performer! Well done, my dear. I know what you mean about the RRHofF. We go once a year just to see all the things we missed the previous time, and never run out of stuff to see. It's a great place, and we've even found a favourite Mexican restaurant in Cleveland.

Cheers,
AM

Heyy, great news about your performance in the restaurant! Must be a good feeling that it went so well. Not a bad selection of songs to do either. Jimi's version of All Along The Watchtower is of course *the* version.

RIP George...

OMG Claire, that's so awesome! You've already had live gig, at a restaraunt!
You guys should be proud of yourselves, seriously!
Heheh...you guys should all learn "I'm straight", I'm telling you. I know I'm bugging you about this one. But people LOVE that one. It's so easy, and people, strangers do sing along to the words "I'm straight",when they hear it, it's like an anthem song. :)
That's why I mentioned doing that one at a talent show, strangers respond well to that one.
But I swear, as it is, who knows of any 14 yr old girls doing Zep medlys
on guitar in live gigs? Wow! :D xoxo
